Negrescolor, Joan

As an illustrator, Joan works for advertisement, newspapers, children’s books, textbooks, and even for toys. He makes animations and is the author of striking posters. From every commission he learns something interesting about his trade. He also collaborates with several collectives who want to make their city a more habitable place. When he does not draw for others, he draws for himself: he visited Mexico and came back packed with drawings on all types of notebooks and on handmade paper. Lately, all the drawings he makes are for his son Amets, who was born while he was illustrating this book. Precisely —what is life!—, Joan was coming into the world when this book was first made.
