- February. Del uno al ciento. Libro de números (From One to a Hundred. Book of Numbers).
- 4 February – 23 April. Exhibition by Javier Olivares titled ‘Javier Olivares / 10 illustrated books’ in the historic library Marqués de Valdecilla of the Complutense University of Madrid. The exhibition displays original artworks and drawings from two books published by Media Vaca: Los niños tontos (The Foolish Children) and Cuentos de la Estrella Legumbre (Tales of the Legume Star).
- 26 February. Children between the ages of 0 and 99, read out loud fragments from two Media Vaca books: Aroma de galletas (The Smell of Cookies) and Mis primeras 80 000 palabras (My First 80,000 Words). At the bookshop El Pa-So in Santa Cruz, Tenerife; organised by the Equipo PARA team. In the end, the children only get to read texts from Aroma de galletas, since the event is interrupted by an “expansive cyclogenesis” warning by the authorities.
- March. Viva mi pueblo (Long Live My Village).
- 6 March – 15 April. Participation of Vicente Ferrer as a professor in the postgraduate course Reading, Books, Children and Young Adult Readers, supervised by Rosa Tabernero and organised by the University of Zaragoza.
- 16 March. The Visual Book Design Award is awarded to Media Vaca for its professional career. Location: Sabatini Auditorium of the Reina Sofia National Art Museum of Madrid. In this same ceremony, the designer Roberto Turégano receives the Professional Career Award. The event concludes with ‘Books and Cocktails’, the usual cocktail in the offices of Visual, who are the developers and organisers of the contest, the only one devoted exclusively to recognising the work of graphic designers in the publishing sector.
- 22 April – 25 June. Exhibition by Artur Heras in the school Escola Gençana de Godella, Valencia, with the title: ‘In the beginning, there was the hen and/or Madame Leonarda’), in which he displays the drawings that comprise the book Madame Leonarda, published by Media Vaca. In the presentation ceremony, which is attended by perfectly well-behaved children, Artur Heras, Miguel Calatayud, and Vicente Ferrer participate.
- 29 April – 27 May. Rafael de Luis exhibits the photographs which form part of the book Valencia in the Fotoespai Gallery of Gandía. Presentation with speeches by the artist and the publisher.
- 18 May. Participation of Vicente Ferrer and Begoña Lobo (Media Vaca) in the meeting of publishers, organised by the Gremio de Libreros (Booksellers Guild) of Madrid, joined by representatives from three other publishing houses: Arianna Squilloni (A Buen Paso), Ana Cristina Herreros (Siruela) and Raquel López Royo (Los Cuatro Azules). Location: Meeting Room of the Círculo de Bellas Artes (Fine Arts Circle) of Madrid. Exquisite books and exquisite canapés travel around the table.
- July. Alfabeto sobre la literatura infantil (Children's Literature from A to Z), 2nd edition.
- 29 October – 2 November. 11th International Poster Biennial in Mexico. Participation of the Media Vaca publishers in the activities performed in the city of Puebla. From 30 October to 1 November: workshop by Vicente Ferrer about votive offerings and fairytales. 31 October: lecture in the Auditorium of the University Cultural Complex.
